My aunty Irene, she was a lovely lady, our special aunty Irene. Irene was my mums sister and i loved her so very much, and she loved me. Aunty Irene loved dancing and used to go with her sisters and her brothers, Cissie, Jimmy, Joey, Agnus, Annie,and my mum Dorothy (Dolly) she is the baby and the last surviving of there family. Aunty Irene lived in Salford with her first husband Uncle Stan,He was a lovely man and i loved him very much. They were never blessed with children but would have made the best parents ever, they both loved children. Aunty Irene used to spoil us when we were little. Uncle stan passed away and Aunty Irene remarried to another good man who looked after her, and they moved to Cleveleys. Aunty Irene loved life and lived it to the full. She loved living in Cleveleys and still went dancing until 1998 when she started to suffer with bad health she sadly died after a long and much suffered illness in 2004. She was a fine and much loved lady. I owe so much to her, and will alway remember her kindness and her love. Denise xxx
